The Cochise County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is a document developed in response to the Healthy Forests Restoration Act of 2003 to help local governments and residents identify and address wildfire risks. It identifies areas at risk from wildfire, prioritizes hazardous fuel reduction projects, and recommends measures to make homes and communities more resistant to fire.
