Cochise County CWPP Draft Stakeholder Review Period

We are excited to release the first drafts of the Cochise County Community Wildfire Protection Plan. This team has put in a lot of time to get to this point in the project, and we appreciate everyone’s contributions in this effort. The following documents have been attached to this advisory: 1. CWPP Plan 2. Appendix A: Community Ignitability Analysis 3. Appendix B: Home Ignition Zone 4. Appendix C: Methodology 5. Appendix D: Mitigation Recommendations We understand there is a lot of material to review, please focus first on the sections that are most relevant to you and return to the other sections later. If I have missed anyone, please let me know so we can share the documents to them and add them to the distribution list for future communications. This draft is to be distributed to the stakeholder team only, not to include community members. The public comment period is currently scheduled to start the end of September.
