The Denali Borough Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is a comprehensive guide to mitigating wildfire risks within the city. This plan outlines strategies to reduce fire hazards, protect residents and property, and improve wildfire response capabilities. The CWPP is a collaborative effort involving local agencies, residents, and stakeholders, working together to create a safer and more resilient community in the face of wildfire threats. The CWPP for the Denali Borough was completed in December 2024. The final products include, CWPP Main Documents, Appendix A: Community Hazard Ratings, Appendix B: Home Ignition Zone Recommendations, Appendix C: Methodology, and Appendix D: Mitigation Recommendations, along with many interactive maps that will remain available on this site for the 5 year life of this CWPP.
