Versions
Each upload of this file is a version. Jobs run against a specific one, so older versions are kept.
Keeping only the latest version
Jobs
Jobs turn this file into something the map can draw — a parquet table, or GeoTIFF tiles.
Keeping only the last run
Schedules
Re-run a job on a timer, for data that changes at the source — a nightly feed, a weekly extract.
Every 15 minutes
Every 15 minutes, downloads https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/data/active_fire/suomi-npp-viirs-c2/shapes/zips/SUOMI_VIIRS_C2_Global_7d.zip into “7d” as a new version. Then builds a table from it, so the map picks the new data up.
