The Washington County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is a comprehensive guide to mitigating wildfire risks within the city. This plan outlines strategies to reduce fire hazards, protect residents and property, and improve wildfire response capabilities. The CWPP is a collaborative effort involving local agencies, residents, and stakeholders, working together to create a safer and more resilient community in the face of wildfire threats. The CWPP for the Washington County was completed in October 2025. The final products include, CWPP Main Document, Appendix A: Community Ignitability, Appendix B: HIZ Recommendations, Appendix C: Methodology, Appendix D: Mitigation Recommendations, and Appendix E: Community Engagement, along with many interactive maps that will remain available on this site for the 5 year life of this CWPP.
